This is a word from God about the road we are traveling as a nation, and even throughout the world. He began speaking to me about these times many years ago, and we are currently seeing what He has revealed play out.
If you're watching this, then maybe you're familiar with the messages I've written, or the books I've published. Maybe I've even ministered to you personally at some point. Well, unbeknownst to a lot of people, what I do consists of more than just writing. While I typically don't use titles, I'm actually called to the office of prophet, and it's something I've been living out for some time now.
I received the call about 26-27 years ago. At the time I actually dismissed it thinking I must be hearing things. I honestly had no idea prophets still existed, and no one around me was familiar with such things. But, in time, I came around to accepting it.
After some time had passed, God connected me to some other prophets where I received some much needed mentoring and guidance. Since then, I've served in a few different prophetic ministries. I've led prophetic meetings, mentored people in the prophetic, went toe to toe with non-christians of all kinds, and ministered to a LOT of different people along the way. I've spent many years learning and growing in the gifts God has given me, and generally pursuing God.
And, for those who are familiar with the trials apostles and prophets go through when they are called -- I've gone through quite a lot of that as well. A lot of refinement, ridicule, loss, opposition and difficult times. A lot. And for a very long time.
I don't say any of this to brag, or draw attention to myself. I'm telling you this because, God wants me to be more apparent with the gifts He has given me. Which also means, being available to a wider group of people for personal prophecy requests.
But, before anyone starts writing their requests, there are a few things that need to be said first. So I'm asking everyone whose interested in making a request to watch this video in its entirety before they submit anything.
I'll be honest; I've delayed in making this announcement. It's been about 5 months or so since God spoke to me about this. And, even though I enjoy giving people the chance to hear what God is saying to them, I wasn't terribly enthused when He told me to do this. I'll explain why, and I think anyone whose reasonable will understand.
The fact is, when you offer people something for free, they will often take advantage of it. And by "take advantage" I mean, abuse. As I said, I've ministered to a lot of people -- I've given of myself sacrificially on many occasions. Yet, out of all the people I've ministered to, only two have ever given a gift or offering of any kind. Just two.
Yes, I know, I'm bringing up financial issues -- and I know what that does to people. I get accused of wanting to get rich every time I do. But, in reality, I just want to be obedient to God and help people -- and I've proven that by my actions. The problem is, I need help too, but that tends to get ignored.
Today.... It's as if ministers -- especially prophets -- are viewed as the people to go get things from. People know that minsters are called to give, and they take advantage of that. They even attack them over it to "keep them in line" so to speak. But, this is abuse. Just like ministers treating people like their own personal ATM is abuse, people taking from ministers but offering nothing in return is abuse. This isn't who we're called to be. This isn't Christlike. We're all called to give.
It's just a fact of life -- no church, no ministry, no charity, no business, and no person can continually give out to others, and survive, without ever receiving anything in return. And if we were being honest, all of us already know this. And this "grab all we can" attitude is hurting all of us.
Now, I'm not going to address all the reasons people choose to do this -- I've actually already addressed a lot of these previously -- but there is one thing I feel needs to be said. In Matthew 10:8 it says, "Freely you have received; freely give," and I've heard a lot of people use this scripture as ammunition against ministers. But, despite the prevailing thinking on this issue, when someone makes a request, it actually does cost them something.
- Speaking for me personally, it costs me my time. It can take a lot of time to properly seek God and confirm what He is saying to someone. Sure, it's easy to blurt out the first thing that comes to mind, but taking time to seek the Lord is what a responsible prophet does.
- It costs me my strength or my energy -- whatever you want to call it. Ministering to people can be draining, both mentally and spiritually. That's part of the reason why Jesus would often get away from the crowds of people and go off to be alone.
- It costs me in all the attacks that prophets have to endure -- both natural and spiritual -- in order to be available to people.
- And, its cost me dearly to be able to do the things I do -- to walk in the office of prophet. I've suffered financially, physically, emotionally, and more, to a significant degree, and over a long period of time. And the reason this matters is, anyone who inquires of me, or who wants me to seek God on their behalf, benefits from all the hardships I suffered, as well as the hard work, and hard time, I put in. And that shouldn't be so easily overlooked.
So, despite what some may think, when someone makes a request of me, it does cost me something -- something valuable in fact. That's why I ask everyone to consider giving a gift of $100. Why $100? Well, that's what God put on my heart to ask for. But also, it's an amount that would help.
I hate to put it in business terms, but, that amount helps offset the resources expended in doing what people ask of me. Which is important, because, when I spend time ministering to others, I can't use that time to do other things -- like, taking care of my own needs. And, unlike a church, I don't have people who regularly give small amounts without consuming these resources. So, while I'm sure a smaller amount would be more appealing, there's no one to pick up the slack. I end up having to pay for it. Again, it's just a fact of life.
Of course, if you can give more than that -- and I know many people can -- it would be a tremendous help, and very much appreciated. But, if someone is in a situation where they don't have any income, then I understand that -- believe me, I do. However, this isn't an option intended for those who do have income, consume all they receive, and then come to consume what I have as well. That's abuse, and I don't think it's too difficult to see that.
So, if you should still want to submit a request for personal prophecy, please remember what I've said. Use the link below to submit your request -- it will take you straight to the requests page on my web site. There's also a link to the gifts page so you can see the ways you can send a gift. Please don't submit requests through Facebook or YouTube or wherever else -- they're just too cumbersome to keep track of there.
And, so that you know, I intend to publish responses by video, but that's not 100% guaranteed. I may write them out if circumstances don't allow for videos. And, if there's something I feel is particularly sensitive, I may contact the person privately.
So, tell me, do you agree with what I presented here, or do you disagree? Let me know when you submit your request.
